Gibbs got outshone by Monreal but I never thought he was bad. Probably got injured too often to prove himself though.

Could mean the rumors of Monaco wanting 100m€ and no Origi are true.

The idea that Liverpool are choosing between Lemar or Ox is easily the craziest thing about this window.

That night we performed the rite and opened the gate.
Halfway through, I went to fix us both a coke float.
By the time I got back, he'd gone insane.
Plus, he'd left the gate open and there was evil everywhere.

I don't understand why Arsenal are responding to last season by selling all their players without buying any new ones to replace them

Because that is what they do pretty much every year.

Many of the players being sold don’t need replacements because they have no real role on the team.

Arsenal have 33 players in their squad, they needed to sell a few even without replacements

Howedes has arrived for his medical with Juve, which is good.

Khedira injured his knee in Germany's training camp today. I hope this prompts Juve to panic acquire another midfielder in the next day.

So they'll buy Lemar and we get to keep Coutinho? I'm ok with that.

Llorente always seemed too good for Swansea. Maybe this opens up loan availability for Michy and that's why Kenedy hasn't been confirmed

Coutino will be a pissy baby if he stays now though, just like Sanchez. Especially since he has put up even more resistance to staying yet has a long contract still.

From what I understand, Sport is the original source of this rumor and it's otherwise unsubstantiated. Save your meltdown fuel for when Liverpool put in their regular 2-0 loss to a club in the relegation zone.

If he goes it's Bony to City all over again. Not good enough for a top four side.

He's a tap in merchant for teams lumping balls into the box.

Ah right. The whole Lemar business seems to be an entire window's worth of bullshit compressed into a single day.

Mascherano is still good from what I've seen, but the guy is 33 and his wages are probably very high. I don't think bringing him back for Klopp-ball is going to work.

Eh, I don't think so. For one, Coutinho is not a guaranteed starter for Brazil the way Sanchez is for Chile, so he has more impetus to play and play well so he can bump up his chances of starting in Russia next year. Also Arsenal seems to be pretty clearly regressing, so Sanchez might see himself as being stuck on a sinking ship. Coutinho might also see himself as being stuck in Liverpool, but they at least have Champion's League and the perception of trying to improve and turn into title contenders.

All that said, I'm still expecting him to go before the window closes, especially if we're already running around trying to make deals with the money that Barca will presumably give us for him.

Lazio are trying to replace Keita with Nani. If they can get a decent price for him that's a decent replacement.
