Come on Rex. A half hour conversation before bed followed by asking your 6-year-old daughter about it oughta be enough for a decision on whether to adopt a toddler.

You're a doctor Rex with incredible luck, you got money coming out of your rear end, a college fund is a fart in space for you.

It more fun than several.
You can go there for too much fun.
Really sucks that Ali's House is over already. I really liked it. I wish there were a collected book of the strips I could buy too.

It's too bad Ali's House didn't have more time. It was just pretty good to me (which is already better than a lot of comics), but I think it had a lot of potential to improve.

Depending on your intended major, they might softball you on the general ed classes you need that are from another discipline. My first trip through college in the late 90's/early 2000's I knew I wanted to major in English early on, so I completed my science requirement with a class literally called "Science for Liberal Arts Majors." We did such complex experiments as tie dying t-shirts and distilling alcohol from random fruits and cough syrup. I was underage and my teacher gave no shits. Also she was arrested not long after for running a meth ring, but I digress. The math class I had to take was also basically "easy math for math haters", but less interesting to talk about.
This reminds me of this Patton Oswalt bit.

First labs are usually like locating the fire extinguishers and identifying beakers and flasks and poo poo like that.

Looks like they might be using a balance to measure out some poo poo.

But in the world of Luann they are probably going to be using volatile chemicals or highly corrosive acids.

The "good guys" are the bad guys, and the " Bad Guys" are sympathetic, damaged* people that you could actually hang out with.

* as in they had actual events in their life that affected them, and led to current behaviors. While the worst that's happened to Luann was that some guy didn't really notice her.

What the hell are they talking about? There wasn't anything to get mad at in this episode, or the previous episode for that matter. And next week? This episode was the season finale, so we won't get a new episode until next year at the very least! What the hell are they on about?

And why am I so mad at Working Daze anyway? It's not even worth it.

I took a chemistry class and the first lab was making brass pennies. The chemicals weren't super dangerous, but I did get some splashback on my hand and had to hold it under the sink for a bit.

Scuttlebutt is that the writing has gotten worse and that they are doing things just to keep the casual fans interested instead of telling compelling and consistent stories.
