I'm predicting Tomi Lahren's downfall at Fox will occur due to a leaked sex tape, nudes, or a combination of the two.

RE: Soros chat:

Soros is nothing less than a piece of poo poo. The way republicans single him out and not the Koch Bros or the Mercer family is downright hilarious, though. They're just as instrumental in destroying labor rights as Soros is.

Downfall? The only way that won't boost her Fox News rating will be if she's filmed with a person of color or an animal.

Seriously, I'm actually amazed they haven't pulled a Paris Hilton yet. Release a tape, fake shock and outrage, have her do the talk circuit about how her privacy was invaded by an ex boyfriend who disagrees with her politics. Show her as strong, courageous, with a little bit of break to her voice. All the while anonymously uploading grainy footage of her and her "liberal ex boyfriend" who is all sorts of stereotypes.

Go full Madonna/whore complex for the viewers. They'll eat it alive. If they'll swallow Dinesh D'Souza they'll love their vulnerable political porn princess.

And now I'm gonna go shower because I feel skeezy even thinking down that exploitation path.

While I agree wholeheartedly, we must also take into account their sexuality being literally the only reason why they're notable as conservative mouthpieces. If these were older, plainer women they would be cast out and mocked. Fox and friends will only tolerate :females: that can get their hamburger-meat colored wieners to poke their heads free from their smegma-lined lairs.

wait a few more months for the memory of what happened to be a bit fuzzier, and we'll start hearing about how she was protesting in Charlottesville when she should have been volunteering in Houston.

Never forget: Texas (if I remember right?) board of education was against teaching critical thinking skills in general because it makes one less likely to blindly follow their parents (authority's) advice.

And the Texas textbooks are the ones that decide what a shitload of other states choose for their books too. We really hosed up as a nation by allowing trends like that to continue unabated for decades.

Ehh nah. Texas textbooks tend to get chosen by conservative states/districts depending on how the purchase system works, but if Texas was some radical leftist state with the same pull on the textbook market, all the shitstack conservative schools would just have another Conservative Freedom edition to buy which would be equally as lovely and dumb - look at how Southern apologism started spreading in American textbooks in the early 20th century despite no one Southern state having the kind of critical purchasing power to demand it on their own.

Why do you think she argues in good faith? It's pretty clear that a number of wonks and pundits don't believe what they say, and simply make arguments to appeal to a certain base or to parrot the company line or to get a decent check. Tomi I don't think believes her own dialog because of those college videos that came out from a few years back that show her moderating crossfire based programming.

I'd love to know who is a true believer and who is a charlatan in the media, especially with fox.

Yeah, the difference between Tomi and say that one conservative wunderkind who became an Obama voter a few years ago was that the latter seemed to genuinely believe in the stuff he preaches and made good faith efforts to argue for them. Tomi, like most established right-wing airheads, doesn't give a poo poo about actually debating anything.

Good evidence that she's in it for the glory is that she has an entourage. One of the guys on the Well Red podcast described something that happened at PolitiCon. He said there was a group of three or four young women who wouldn't stop talking about how they worked for Tomi and the errands they had to run for her. "Pick up some Starburst, Tomi loves Starburst," that sort of thing.

And replace them with some good Republicans like Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, John Brown, Sojourner Truth, U.S. Grant, Thaddeus Stevens, etc? And get that Democrat-created Confederate flag off public property too right? Surely a government shouldn't be flying the private symbols of a political party like that Democrat Dixie flag?
