Wow, that rage lady seems very pleasant. Her tone when talking about those people from Africa changed so drastically. She wasn't hiding the utter contempt she has for them at all. I was half expecting her to drop some n-bombs in that racist rant given the tone.

Not sure what that says about the state of things when I pick up on the tone rather than the horribly racist and xenophobic trash coming out of these peoples' mouth. It's quite unfortunate that you become desensitized to this crap. At least you can say that it may be an indicator as to who really believes this crap and who regurgitates it cynically to get a viewer-base.

I think the thing that really drove home how fact-free the rationals are is when I got involved in a debate in youtube comments (yeah, I know) cuz I was in a mood and got tired of them saying there was no evidence for trans stuff. Posted a giant thing with like 10 sources consisting of news articles, scientific papers, meta reviews written for laypeople, and even a couple interviews with the author of couple of the studies that former John Hopkins guy from the American College of Pediatricians quoted in that anti-trans article that hit it big a few years ago saying that people (like said guy) were interpreting the studies to mean things they don't mean at all. I even cited some counter-evidence for transparency! I practically handed them some studies they could cherry pick as being "better" if they wanted even if the majority of evidence goes the other way! I got this as one of the responses   "What are studies? I believe in SCIENCE!" Though looking at the comments on Hbomb, Shaun, and Contra's vids it seems like there are some people they're actually getting through to, so good job.
