I'm trying to read the chuuni spider comic, but the isekai RPG elements are starting to really irritate me. Do they ever go away? I'm at the chapter where she's discovered her health etc. bars, if that helps.

It does not go away, she tries to figure out ways to exploit them. I quite like it, seeing someone vaguely familiar with these elements figuring them out and using them.

the slime isekai is better imo, since it's basically about a nice middle aged dude dying to save his friend and then reincarnating as an unexpectedly powerful slime who becomes the dad of a monster village.

I got bored one day and binged a shitload of the spider web novel (I assume) translations. I tapped roughly when they revealed the newly apotheosized spider girl was never a human at all - she's literally a spider, reborn as a spider monster, with human memories implanted in her.

I'm having a minor  moment here, cuz I was sure I didn't mess up the spoiler tags and edit that post, but now I'm doubting myself.Anyway, it's weird. The gist if you care is that an entire classrom got blown up and all the students+teacher got reincarnated, except one of the students was Literally a God so she used some random spider as her stand-in. Then the spider also becomes a god and they meet up and play fighting games.
