So was that excessive amount of Destiny advertising money intended to cover Destiny 2 as well or what? Like, was the 500 million intended to cover Destiny as a franchise then or was it originally intended just for the first game and its advertising and upkeep?

But yeah 5 strikes is laughable and I'm willing to bet the 40 or so other "activities" are just tedious busywork collecting spindles and rocks

The only reason anybody talks or cares about destiny is advertising money. The bigger release this week is the Splatoon 2 1.3 balance update, will probably be a game changer

If the beta Strike I played was any indication, then yeah. Without really being familiar with Destiny's mechanics, I got through it with pubbies in about 20 minutes, though admittedly I think they gave everyone pretty high tier loot in the beta.

It's my first hurricane season in Florida and while I can't do much but prepare for Irma I'm not looking forward to it hitting later this week. Luckily the area I live in is pretty much center of the state so I don't think we're in any direct path but my fiancée has family in Miami and I am a little worried about them. If I had the money I would totally buy a generator to keep the fridge running and keep my Switch and 3DS charged in the event of a multiday power outage. I do have to use some weather stripping seal on the sliding glass door, that thing has flooded twice so far in the past 5 months and that was during regular old rain, I don't want to imagine what a week of heavy rain will cause to happen.

It is difficult to remember that RE7 is actually a 2017 game and still in consideration for this year's GOTY lists. There have been so many good games and so much bad poo poo that it feels like RE7 came out two years ago

I think so far my top 10 looks like Yakuza 0, Zelda, Persona 5, Prey, Fire Pro World, maybe RE7. I'm expecting Mario Odyssey, Dishonored 2.5, Metroid to make that list later.
