So Glenn Beck's theme song is some dumb pop/rock thing about how Americans stand up for each other and help each other and we are one (except for communists/socialists/liberals/leftists/antifa/atheists who are all EVIL AND DESTROYING AMERICA). But today he didn't play that, it was some ominous, scary sounding music. I'm not sure if this was just for today given his opening (talking about North Korea and how dangerous they are) or if this is a permanent change.

Coulter just grates on me because says the shittiest things and never goes away.

"Weiner" is Michale Weiner, aka: Michael SAVAGE, cause he's so badass. He's just an angry, obnoxious monster and makes money doing it somehow. Pure rage directed at the weak and powerless. He got fired from MSNBC for telling a gay caller to "get aids and die", so poo poo like that I kinda don't like.

You know, because I'm a decent human being and everything.

I rattled off that "top 5" off my head, but that's probably the best way to do it since it reflects the RWM that permeates my head the most. Hannity is the worst by a long shot though.

1. Hannity. - The cross between a sentient fart and a potato.
2. Rush Limbaugh. - The guy that I blame for snowballing RWM's transformation into outright propaganda.
3. Bill O'reily. - I know he's no longer in the picture but, I still have dumb relatives bringing up his crap.
4. That loving guy who makes all the fake videos but still hasn't gone to jail for it. - One maddening example of the rules only applying to the other parties.
5. Tucker Carlson. - John Stewart didn't do a good enough job.

1. Rush - fucker basically created the RWM outrage machine and converted a lot of people into lovely assholes. I mean, his followers call themselves dittoheads, that's basically admitting to stating "I have no real opinion so I just repeat my favorite radio man."
2. Hannity - Rush on TV, and peddles stupid conspiracy theories.
3. Ben Garrison - I consider him RWM after he went hardcore for Trump and started pandering to the same people that turned him into Zyklon Ben. Hoooo boy his cartoons are a doozy. Matt Bors made a comment that Garrison is probably the most viewed political cartoonist today, and I think he's right, sadly.
4. Tomi Lahren - offends me as a millenial. She's such a loving Becky. I'll never forget her lovely Kaepernick hot take. I knew Fox News would pick her up.
5. Stephen Crowder - this is the ideal shitpost. You may not like it, but this is what peak poo poo posting looks like.

3. Rush Limbaugh - The first and biggest of the post-fairness doctrine repeal talk radio hosts. He's really the one who restarted this bullshit.
4. Geraldo Rivera - His original show did a lot to normalize far right views in front of national audiences, even if it was meant as a trainwreck factor, his show did a lot to normalize that poo poo.

Weird to me that people are posting top 5's and there's so many assholes I've never even heard of. They're multiplying. We're on, like, the third loving generation of right wing jackasses, aren't we? Joe Walsh is a local fuckstain that got onto the radio after we voted him out after one term. They blanked out the "friend of the family" but not "Redskin"! Checkmate libtards. He's also a deadbeat dad and thankfully someone will bring it up all the time he makes a dumb tweet. Also, I got him shook when I called him a big government stooge for his support of some ant-sanctuary city bill in Texas (because enforcing immigration is a federal issue, why do you want to expand the federal government to every cop in Texas?)

I've considered doing it myself but I have a...what do you call that thing...?

It'd probably be REALLY loving easy to do, especially for a reasonably intelligent writer that knows how to cite sources and poo poo to make it all seem legit.

I'm not certain I share your optimism that we've peaked with it but FOX News declining ratings are admittedly a good sign, so maybe. He's actually a pretty good indicator of the most lovely things republicans are up to at the moment. Anything he accuses THE RADICAL LEFT of doing is something his team is guilty of.

I think you could make a case for doing it yourself. Think of it as making a fire break to aid in stopping a wild fire or soil remediation at a superfund site. The more people out there grifting money from the same group of people the less there is to go around and the faster it would all depelete. The way I see it, this base of people is going to spend this money and consume RWM no matter what is done. Without some way to "drain the swamp" the RWM machine is going to continue to spew garbage everywhere. Hopefully this depeltion takes a whole bunch of shitlordes with it but, I'm not an economist so take all of that with a grain of salt.

To top it all off you can use what money and popularity you would gain from doing this to advance good causes like science education advocacy.

What I find interesting is how the reaction to the act becomes the impetus for succumbing to the act and actually becoming it.

There are so many "I wasn't <X> until I pretended to be <X> and those <people I don't like> had such a negative reaction..."

It's just so filled with cowardice. They can't admit they hold these views. They have to pretend they're a victim of being forced to hold these views by some strawan of the opposing side. This is almost always acting as cover for some sort of bigotry.

It's like the circle is not complete unless they can also blame the groups their prejudiced toward for themselves being prejudiced. It's disgusting, but also incredibly in line for authoritarian rhetoric.

One of Rush's talents is making his idiot listeners feel smart and "in" on something.

One way he'll do this is giving them the phone and letting them babble something, and then Rush repeats what the caller said in an extended Rushy style while in this interrogatory manner: He will draw it out over a whole segment and conclude with something like: But you said Obama hasn't been forthright about his birth certificate, is that what you're saying? And then switch to a tone assuming that of a liberal interrogator: Well we can't have that! That's outrageous! And then he'll pivot back to the real Rush: But that, my friends, is what we're up against. Much more than that too, because that's how the Washington Club works -- and it is a club, folks -- and it's one that doesn't want you asking those questions.

My "favorite" Matt Walsh is a huge racist moment was claiming a black man that was killed by police obviously deserved it for having social media pictures of him wearing a backwards cap, holding a gun, and displayed his tattoos and thus was clearly a criminal; all of which are things Matt Walsh has done on social media except his baseball hat was on with the brim forward.
