The 3DS version is fine overall but it's also worse than the Wii U one is every conceivable way and the controls sorta suck. I'm sure you could get used to it but...why?

3DS was the one I did every single thing you possibly could in and then I got burned out on Wii U Smash like a third of the way in because I had been playing Smash for like half a year straight at that point.
