I actually kind of like the slightly less cartoony/more realistic/slightly Western-looking early style!  The comic has looked pretty good from the very start, I'd say. Also -- why is she in her maid outfit?? Is magical Akalyn more powerful that way??

Touko is very much a narrative device. She basically ends all Genjirou-related conflicts when she appears. If she showed up now there wouldn't be any fun Dadpire moments to come where he eventually accepts Asahi/helps the gang.

I've rush shipped a replacement book from Japan, but it may not arrive in time to debind, scan, and then clean and typeset. As a result, we may miss our Wednesday release window. It's likely that we'll release Thursday or Friday, or at worst, release two chapters the following week. Either way, I wanted to let you guys know. Thanks for reading.
