At least they actually filed a police report about it instead of posting on twitter about them being "attacked."

my favorite part is knowing since july 29th & thisquote:SEC filings show that three Equifax executives – Chief Financial Officer John Gamble Jr., workforce solutions president Rodolfo Ploder and U.S. information solutions president Joseph Loughran – sold nearly $2 million in shares in the company days after the cyberattack was discovered. It was unclear whether their share sales had anything to do with the breach. An Equifax spokeswoman didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

if you're a listed exec then "no reason" better mean "because the 10b5-1 I filed more than six months previously says so".

it was either an honest mistake or an odd coincidence i mean, we've all been there, right? accidentally unloading 2 million dollars of company stock into cold hard cash in the 24 hour news cycle and whatnot.

I don't understand why you'd sell your stock because of a breach though, breaches never seem to have much of a lasting impact on price. What am I missing?

they've had breaches in 15, 16 & 17 (may) so maybe they expect a bigger blowback
