I can't help but wonder how this will affect the international real estate market. A lot of overseas cash has been flowing into Miami and Florida condo projects, mainly from Chinese and Russkies getting their bribe money out of the country. If Irma takes out a bunch of high-rises and developments, it could start a no-poo poo recession.

I've live in and around Orlando for 35 years.... gently caress I'm old.

Miami and the coasts? Yeah shits going to get messy. Tampa and the like? Assuming the hurricane remains on track (LOL) they're on the "good side" which is the west side of the hurricane. Weaker winds and the storm won't be sucking in as much warm water it was over the oceans. They should be fine, messy cleanup, but no roofs ripping from the building kind of disaster zone.

But me? I'm on the west side of Orlando, the east side of the hurricane and lol. Right now we're in bring everything in that can be a projectile mode and hope for the best. I would say Hail Satan but Irma is my new god now.
