Yeah if you're not in an ocean going vessel that can outrun the storm, you could do a lot worse than mangroves. Wouldn't be pleasant but definitely smarter than being docked.

During some recent flooding, a young goat took up residence under a bridge near Clendenin WV. After some calls from the public, Animal Control stepped in to try and relocate the goat to a new home. They lowered a rope over the bridge to try and snare the goat, who stepped off the edge trying to get away and plummeted to its death during a livestreamed newscast. These letters spelled out something called the shahada, which is a big deal to them. Since it's a dog wearing the flag and not, say, a cat, they're taking this seriously. My favorite part about this whole thing is that we've been there SIXTEEN loving YEARS. This shouldn't come to a shock. In another year, we might have people serving in Afghanistan that weren't even alive before the towers fell.

So, I know about this somewhat intimately ... the Shahada is the basis of Islam, the first of their pillars of faith, "There is only one God, and he is Allah." Using the actual ISIS or Taliban flag is usually something you avoid. If you do use it, you don't use an actual flag, but a representation, to get the point across that is the Taliban, but not disrespecting the Shahada, and by association all of Islam. I would get into more but I don't want to Dox myself or cross OPSEC lines.
