This is probably a long shot, but there's a small part of me wondering if Saint Germain is going to go on some big rant about how she has to go along with Adam's scheme or else Cags and Prelati's sacrifices will be in vain, only for the Gears to pause in confusion: "...What do you mean? They're fine. We've got them back in the medical bay..."

I am almost 100% sure that the alchemists are either fine or only not fine because Adam got to their unconscious/beaten bodies first. Remember both times we got told they were dead it was by Tiki.

Best combo attack and best combo song. I really hope that next ep Cagliostro and Prelati come and save these bozos. This would be a real good time and I'm not giving up on them just yet. They still have to sing a trio with Saint-Germain  .I liked that Kirika didn't get held back by her issues at all. I'm not sure her arc is done yet though and I'm hoping it'll continue into the next episode. also hat boomerang

The Noise first appeared sometime around the time of Babylon iirc, and the symphogear relics are all chips of various legendary magical weapons from places all over the world except they actually existed in this setting, and we got that sweet shot of the Illuminati having a rumble with Pirate Fine several centuries ago.

yeah noise have always existed, it was just only a few years before the start of s1 that they became incredibly frequent. before then they just happened about as much as earthquakes or whatever, there'd be a noise attack or two every year but usually nothing major. and since all the big weapons actually existed we're inclined to believe that pretty much every myth and legend actually happened, so the supernatural defense department probably dealt with some izanami poo poo or something.
