Monster Hunter XX on the Switch is pretty drat fun. I can't read Japanese for poo poo but I've been stumbling around with my son and managed to make it to the 2 star quests and upgrade some of my armor. I don't know if it will get an english language port because Capcom probably thinks it'll take sales from Monster Hunter World but it's everything good about the 3DS games without the lovely portable console controls.

I really want to play MechCommander Gold but ironically that Microsoft published game isn't compatible with Windows 10 Pro/Surface devices. MechCommander Omni does work on Surface devices after some work, Omni doesn't capture the same overwhelming feel as MechCommander 1 though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjBSOTYT2c4

ended up as founder of this dumb Destiny clan Seems like clans aren't completely worthless unlike 1. Another couple GIPers are in it, I believe. Just solved my old-rear end microsoft games don't work problem. Directplay wasn't enabled on my machine, technet.com (microsoft enterprise support site) was massively unhelpful as to how get directplay installed and/or working. Yeah Sony literally has no incentive to enable it If the roles were swapped and Xbox had the market cornered it'd be reversed The PS4 does crossplay with PC on FFXIV, war thunders, rocket league, and maybe some othe F2P

Mechwarrior Living Legends is fun to mess around with just for the combined arms vehicles + aircraft. MW4:Mercs + Mechwarrior 4 didn't click with me. Hard pass. The developers of Mechwarrior Online are involved, I wouldn't trust them to NOT gently caress up a coffee order, and come back with radish smoothies for everyone. Mechwarrior 2's multiplayer component, Netmech, came out in 1995-1996. Netmech apparently still has more game modes, and server options than Mechwarrior Online offers with "premium" time. Waiting to see how the new battletech "battletech" turns out. Ended up bored/hating Shadowrun returns & just couldn't give a gently caress in shadwrun dragonfall. Combat in those two games just was not fun or engaging.
