Graviton Lance just seems so underwhelming as an exotic, aside from the large mag, it's perk doesn't seem to do much of anything. Also, is there a reason to keep the eververse armor stuff that only had 10 defense aside from infusing it because it looks pretty?

The implications behind the sham speaker is more significant than most realize, he's the unreliable narrator for both d1 and d2. The intros to both were given by him. They're clearly horse poo poo, especially when different interpretations of the darkness exist in Destiny society. Who knows what the pyramid entities really are

It looks and sounds cool, the explosion does a little bit of damage but not as much as the solar hand cannon. Every 4th shot does do a bit of extra damage and you'll notice this if you chain headshots in PvE but the gun's damage is somewhat underwhelming so it's a wash.

So what class/subclass have other hunters been using in strikes? I've been using nightstalker pathfinder because i like being able to smoke bomb (both mechanically and it's just fun to me). Is gunslinger sharpshooter more optimal though, with practice makes perfect allowing you to use golden gun faster? E: I've been using and infused sunshot with cayde's lucky pants (which i love)

A lot of Nightfall guides said to use an Arc subclass and dump Super DPS on the boss. For a Striker Titan, which will do more single target Super DPS - Dunk - melee - melee - melee - melee - melee? Or just Dunk Dunk Dunk till it's all gone?

Personally I love hard hitting ARs that shoot slower but 1-2 head shots will down an opponent. Others like a AR that has almost no impact but may have a 60+ clip and insane rate of fire. Again just play around and don't worry about dying so much (play the objective anyways) and you'll figure it out. The one caveat to this is Iron Banner or whatever they're calling it now. Gear for that event does matter and does not normalize. If I got this wrong or if it changed from D1 someone please correct me. I'm operating under the above but as I was writing it out I realized I never looked up how D2 PvP was, I just assumed it was the same as D1. Feels like it so far.

Woah, that's pretty cool how when you get to LL 280 you can upgrade a bunch of your blue mods to purple mods. I was able to upgrade a bunch of my favorite guns/armors past 280 super fast after that. What's up with all the drills? The tagline should have been Destiny 2: Drill Cadey Drill.

I went back to the farm for the first time last night since beating the game and apparently all the NPCs that moves to the tower ACTUALLY moved there and are compeltely gone from the farm, rather than being at both places. So, uh, I guess I was the one being weird and dumb a few days ago talking about using the farm instead of the tower. Didn't realize this.

I mean if you hit a plateau this week literally just wait like 24 hours and you'll have easy access to like 3-4 powerful engrams that will shoot your poo poo up before raid time. If you're 270 after week 1 then you're probably just fine and way ahead of the curve.

Also, kinda random gripe: i didn't like how even though your character is imported (and you get the art of your accomplishments), nothing else matters. Biggest, maybe easiest thing: You fly back in I know there might be some engine/graphics stuff, and the extra work with working the models for the old ships in (when they won't be used beyond that), but i feel like it would've been a nice touch that just added to the connection you feel, making it YOUR character with YOUR ship. I liked my Quite Content Damsel, maybe more than the random drop legendary ship i have now (which is still pretty cool). Thank you for listening to me thinking about this too much.

I got an exotic sparrow with the "transmats in faster" perk and I thought that was a real lame perk, but by "faster" they mean "instantly," and you don't even need to hold the button down, just tap it. You can summon it so fast that if you summon, jump off, summon again, you can manage to get three of them out before the first one finishes the fading away animation. Still probably not the coolest perk a sparrow can have, but certainly nicer than I thought, especially with the much higher exotic sparrow speed, you can zip around planets like a regular hedgehog.
