Yah in my league the Defenses start out with 15 instead of 10, and we do give 1 point for each Forced Fumble, and then 1 additional point for Fumble Recoveries. This makes it so a team that holds an opponent to a really low score, but doesn't force a lot of turnovers still gets a decent score. I mean think about it. How is it loving reasonable for a team to only get 10 points for holding a team to 0 points and less than 100 yards?

I made a big stink and said I don't want a recount but we should alter it going forward.

Because like Kareem Hunt broke an all time record for a rookie running back. His performance was legendary. 246 all purpose yards and 3 touchdowns. That kind of game happens once in a year. He had 3 points less than the Jacksonville defense. So basically you have to break records to keep up with a good game by a defense. It’s our #1 most important position and should have been our first round pick with that kind of bullshit scoring.

Basically sacks are worth twice what they should be and other bonuses are too high as well.

I agree, I'm not expecting anything from him, just picked him up as a lotto ticket in case he does get some snaps.

I've got a league with similarly high dst scoring, like most weeks there are a few teams that go 30+, Jaguars were 49 points, etc. You still wouldn't draft them so early because of how unpredictable they are year to year, but you should consider a midround pick on like Denver dst and often carry two (or even more) defenses to always have good matchups or keep studs away from others.

I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, I like that it makes dst less of a throwaway position. We already have kickers, why add a second dumb spot. I think there's also some logic to like, defense makes up half the real NFL team, why are we treating them like such an afterthought in fantasy. But my personal preference to answer both of those is to do IDP, which is too much effort for everyone else in that league.

Ingram, Monty, Mixon (probably really hosed here).

Hunt, Monty, Riddick, Blount, Duke (probably still hosed)

I snagged him my dynasty's free agency draft in the last round for extremely cheap (well would have been but I just dumped all I had left just to do it). His frame terrifies me, but here's to hoping he keeps it up!

Don't think I'd trust anyone in the Cardinals backfield. That offense looked old and busted before they lost their dynamic star RB. It's probably more likely that Arizona's season spirals out and tanks the fantasy value of everyone involved.
