It's also perfectly accurate within the burst. The kick doesn't come until the third round. You have to use it more like a bouncy scout rifle than a pulse rifle.

Man I wish I chose the Actium War Rig instead of the Doom Fang Pauldron, the latter of which is very good but I underestimated how much I would be using auto rifles and overestimated how much time I'd play as a sentinel.

I'm tempted to make a second titan just to get it from the story mission.

I liked Sentinel right up until I unlocked Striker. I have spent the rest of the game as a striker. Captain America is cool, but being SSB Donkey Kong is cooler. And two grenade charges with double duration is just too nice a trait.

How do I Sunbreaker effectively? I got the Hallowfire Heart and figured I'd give flaming hammers a shot, but I don't feel nearly as effective as when I'm punching everyone with electricity.

Also I got the solar hand cannon, which is pretty good and makes me excited for the PC version.

lol if you think a game developer from seattle who has and maintains a job slipped this in deliberately.

Calling it now, faction bullshit is going to be the new ironbanner, you're going to commit to one and play competitive or quickplay repping a faction and get loot for rank ups. Also I think Trials of the 9 coinciding with Xur isn't going to be some dumb link, I think he's going to be the guy you see for your passage which will take 7 wins with a free mercy and you'll get a strange coin which nets you the weeks loot.

Does someone need to make a PS4 raid only PGS thread? Kink and the discord are best for pretty much every other D2 activity but with the larger group and time commitment for a raid it might be helpful. It might also be helpful getting rewards for the smaller clans, you only need 3 people from your clan in the fireteam to get credit for beating a raid, IIRC. The discord has an lfg bot but I haven't seen anyone using it lately.

Also endorsing the Actium War Rig. I tend to use Scouts and Hand Cannons more than ARs, but the Rig works wonders with a large mag and/or firing in bursts. Don't even need to reload when running to the next objective/patrol beacon/whatever.

Striker owns bones in PvE now. Shoulder charge will wipe out whole packs of trash, pulse grenade wrecks, the Earthshaker perk set makes you a grenade monster, you can run around the room with your super annihilating everything or wrecking majors, and you can still get an insta-reset on shoulder charge with Insurmountable Skullfart. You are a freight train of destruction.

In that Io mission, Ikora says "There is only one Warmind, and he has been marooned on Earth since his network fragmented," which could mean either that a) there is only one warmind remaining, or b) there was only ever a single warmind intelligence, and the entity we know as Rasputin came into existence when that intelligence was shattered during the collapse � so, a retcon. I'm leaning towards the latter but I guess we'll know for sure in six to eight months when the Warmind themed expansion hits.

Charlemagne was going to be a part of the original pre-rewrite Destiny 1 story and his vault would have been on Mars, but aside from one snippet of dialogue that alludes to "the warmind of Mars", and some flavour text that references "CHLM", he's completely absent from the final game, which makes it difficult to determine his position in the canon. Either way Bungie gave themselves a bit of worldbuilding breathing room on this one.
