The Bucks looked terrible last night. Thought it would be my only bright spot before this hurricane hit. Now I have to hope the Browns beat the Steelers to cheer me up. No more betting this weekend!

This is going to take a while, Jase1 is the best thing to happen to this thread, so I thought I would graph him. There is a lot of data to enter, so here is the first year. I'll be updating as I enter in all of his posts. I'm even keeping track of the odds of every bet as best I can (he used to only bet on underdogs)

All done. I didn't include the Mayweather fight, it looks like his bookie wouldn't take the bet. jase1, I think you might have a gambling problem.

I think it's pretty stupid to say he has a gambling problem. He might not be a winning sports bettor but from what I gather Jase does very well for himself. So the amount of money he's lost is probably quite inconsequential to his life and lifestyle and can be written off at cost of entertainment.

I had about 200k saved up from shooting pool over the years and I took that money and bought the company I was working for when the owner retired. I owned it for about 6 years and then sold it for just over 3.5 mil to a finance company in New York who just wanted my customer list. I now have a stock portfolio and was able to retire at the age of 40. I bought a house for cash in Florida and now have a financial advisor who helps make money from all of that. I pay myself a salary every month out of that and none of that money ever gets touched and never will get touched for gambling. I make more money a month than my salary I pay myself per month so I am doing fine. My gambling bankroll is about 200k give or take a few grand depending on how I am doing. Sports betting is just for fun and I made about 5k total overall last year from it. I bet about 10k a week on the NFL during the season and then I usually only place a few homer bets on the Cavs through out the season and then I will bet things like the world series or other major sporting events. If my bankroll gets low I just go back to shooting pool for awhile which is so boring to me it's like a job and I hate it. I could travel around and hustle dummies for a living and make great money but in this day and age with so many guns it's just not wise. I make most of my money from mid stakes omaha high low and NL holdem. The casino in Cleveland was gold mine and padded my bankroll so I could make fun bets on MMA. Anytime I won money at MMA I either bought my wife a present, bought myself into the main event of the WSOP this past year or wasted it all on Roulette and craps. If my bookie is hanging out with me when I win on MMA I mostly just blew the money in front of him it's like a tradition we have to gently caress with each other. My gambling has got me everything I have in life, my company that sold for a huge profit, a wife that is way out of my league who also signed a prenup, a chance to play in the WSOP with the best poker players in the world a house close to the beach with an amazing pool and countless other things in life. I will soon be purchasing a small boat for 10k so I can learn how to fish. I don't have a gambling problem but I might have a drinking problem. I spend more money on high end scotch than most people do on food. It has not affected my health yet though. I am pretty fit because I exercise regular and I run every day. The doctor never believes me when I tell him how much I drink but he always tells me to cut it in half and I still don't listen.

jase, i think every part of that is cool except for the fact that you shared it with us and you drink too much. please drink less and return to being a being of a higher plane, whose ways and means are so unknowable to the guys who lose 15 dollars because of their steadfast belief in holly holm that large bets appear to be some kind of natural phenomena, like the singing of birds or the howling of the wind.
