Honestly, my first thought was some dumb intern. For some reason I imagine Ted Cruz is too lazy to tweet personally for every tweet. In this scenario, his laxness instead of his sexuality gets him. And then imagining him trying to be like IT WASN'T ME and no one believing him. It satisfies me.

He had enough of a following for Weird Tales to keep publishing him and even though there was an editor that disliked Lovecraft, even he gave in and published several of his stories posthumously. Lovecraft's problem was that he refused to leave New York with his wife and ended up back in Providence and lived frugally on very little money because he wrote for people that did not pay very well.
