Man, windows scaling on a 4k monitor is bad at the best of times but when the whole thing is only 24 inches diagonal everything is gonna be tiny or fuzzy.

I've been thinking about buying one of those 4k dells and as far as my work laptop goes I'll probably just output 1080p to it because I don't even know if the hp they gave me can do 4k
|
# ? Sep 12, 2017 18:36 |

pretty much anything today can do 4k desktop stuff so long as it has displayport or hdmi 1.3 older hdmi puts you at 30hz which is shiiiiiiit

You Am I posted:My workplace has been rolling out Windows 10 since the start of the year, especially since MS won't update CPU drivers for any of the newer Intel CPUs for Windows 7. are they actually providing an update path for existing users? mine is distributing windows 10 on new machines but if it shipped with 7 there is no upgrade path, so some people will be waiting until 2020.

we've still got win 7 but it's all on older computers. we actually have a refresh cycle here so we're just buying new computers with win10 and eventually there won't be win7 computers left.
