They don't have arms, their claws can't grab the way a feline's can, and even the biggest dogs are at a massive weight disadvantage against an adult human. If you can control their head or neck there's basically gently caress-all they can do.

Granted, two dogs sounds enormously more complicated than one.

what the gently caress, that looks like some kind of extreme allergic reaction ON TOP of having a bad sunburn, wow that sucks. I googled a bit and only found a single 1-star review on amazon. Are extreme reactions to lidocaine common?

Edit: guy's dad sounds super excited for his upcoming lawsuit where they explain the concept of allergies to him.

The schadenfreude here is that if this was the UK or any number of other countries, the kid could be in hospital getting merciful painkillers and proper care for the equivalent of 20 US dollars. But nope, he's screaming and his mom is rubbing even more random crap on his skin while his dad makes a YouTube video where he puts Panama Jack brand lotion on blast, even though legally the original supplier for that liquid might be the one ultimately liable. If there's even any liability.

Oh, and adult parents were negligent enough to let their minor child get 2nd degree burns over most of his body. No wonder comments are restricted.

Elizabethan Error

the amount of sunburn damage he has would probably have resulted in his brain ignoring the nerve output from the sunburnt skin. cue the nerves cutting back in when they're not blaring "what the gently caress" to the spinal cord at full volume.

Includes among such penalties a ten-year maximum term of imprisonment if the offense permanently disables or disfigures, or causes serious bodily injury to or the death of, the animal. They were totally trying to build a giant flamethrower (it throws flame). Since all a flamethrower really does is spray aerosoled fuel over a small flame we should be able to increase the size of everything x10 while ignoring any and all other engineering considerations that went into the original design, right? I mean come on, what's the worst that could happen :flame:

(Reuters) - A U.S. judge on Wednesday ordered Martin Shkreli to be jailed while he awaits sentencing for securities fraud, citing a Facebook post in which the former drug company offered a $5,000 reward for a strand of Hillary Clinton’s hair.

Shkreli, who had been free on $5 million bail since his December 2015 arrest, was silent and stony-faced as U.S. marshals led out of U.S. District Judge Kiyo Matsumoto’s Brooklyn courtroom.

Matsumoto ruled that Shkreli’s Sept. 4 post, made shortly before Clinton embarked on a book tour, showed he posed a danger to the public. She rejected arguments by Shkreli’s lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, that the post was protected free speech.

“This is a solicitation of assault in exchange for money,” the judge said. “That is not protected by the First Amendment.”

Probation
Can't post for 13 minutes!
City prosecutor gets poo poo-face drunk, drives the wrong way down a one-way street, and smashes into a parked car just as the driver was getting into it, injuring him.

The first cop on the scene realizes that hey, this is a city prosecutor, and calls his watch commander to tell him "Hey, a prosecutor just DUIed into some guy." The watch commander instantly orders him to switch from the recorded police line, to another line that's not recorded.

Except whoops! It was recorded, after all. And so the multiple phone calls where the cops discuss how to futz the field sobriety tests so allow the poo poo-face drunk prosecutor to pass them, so that they don't have to give him a breathalyzer test, and get a story straight between them, are now all public record. You can read them here:

http://woodtv.com/2017/09/13/grpd-phone-line-recordings-of-ex-prosecutors-crash-released/

Notfreude:

quote:

In February, GRPD Chief David Rahinsky and Grand Rapids City Manager Greg Sundstrom agreed to termination hearings for all three officers. However, the city reached agreements with the police union for a lighter punishment for two of them. Officer Adam Ickes was suspended for 30 days without pay; Warwick was suspended for 160 hours, demoted from sergeant to officer, and placed on a two-year probation.

Janiskee was fired from his job. He is suing, claiming his rights were violated and he’s also seeking to get his job back.

Too bad for the guy injured in this, since because the cops let the drunk who plowed into him go it's impossible to prove he was DUI in the civil case.
