They don't have arms, their claws can't grab the way a feline's can, and even the biggest dogs are at a massive weight disadvantage against an adult human. If you can control their head or neck there's basically gently caress-all they can do. Granted, two dogs sounds enormously more complicated than one.

Since all a flamethrower really does is spray aerosoled fuel over a small flame we should be able to increase the size of everything x10 while ignoring any and all other engineering considerations that went into the original design, right?
