MassivelyOp also ran the news, initially under the title ""STAR CITIZEN BACKER CLAIMS HIS GUILD SOUGHT AND RECEIVED A $45000 REFUND" and later updated as "STAR CITIZEN DENIES CLAIMS THAT A BACKER SOUGHT AND RECEIVED A $45000 REFUND" They still kept the original text, below the update about CIG's response. I like how it starts quote:If you’re as “fed up” with waiting for Star Citizen as Chris Roberts is “fed up” with providing endless moving release dates for alpha 3.0, there’s one recourse left to you: get a refund.

I stopped reading PCGamer back in 2004 because their journalists are kind of poo poo. It was pretty obvious they get kickbacks somehow since they would write praises for games that were obviously steaming dumps. Nice to see they're keeping it up. Also, CIG is obviously telling bullshit. That guy was a CIG supporter, why would he fake a bunch of poo poo if he likes CIG? Doesn't make any sense.
