How long, I wonder, until the reddit forum starts getting flooded by posts saying how glad they are that people are asking for refunds because they were just dead weight and "this is ultimately good for SC" starts popping up? The hadn't thought about this but it makes the investing side make a lot more sense. So long as you think CIG will continue to offer refunds, the value of your jpegs has a floor of their refund value. So you can grey market and stockpile and ride out ups and downs. You're playing with a rigged set of dice. How does a refund work if there are packages in my account that I didn't buy from CIG? I assume I don't get money for those? What about for packages I gifted somewhere?

The only thing more hilarious than the project burning in a black hole of bankruptcy would be the game actually coming out. Just imagine those idiots getting their asses handed to them in non consensual PvP and then making threads about CIG and "Arbitrators Guild" not banning the players that got them.

Look I'm just a country lawyer, not qualified to distinguish between your slavery, your overwork, and your normal crunch. But didn't them folks at CIG release their own documentary about how hard they were working? Called it "Road to CitizenCon" if I'm not mistaken. Lot of folks with tired eyes in that film. I reckon ya'll should look into that, member of the jury. If a company's so used to overwork, they make a video about it as a marketing tool, mayhaps they're working them folks a little too hard.
