It just seems screwed up that these people are making Matrix analogies about this stuff (since the "blackpill" is supposed to be opposite the Matrix "bluepill" as I understand it) because nobody in outside society will acknowledge it, because it might be discouraging. Which would be understandable if the result was "we avoid discouraging people", but actually some of these people end up thinking that if they aren't following the most positive traditional romance narrative then they're not deemed to exist.

the reason people don't talk about this is that it's unsolvable. there is always going to be some portion of people who will be considered extremely unappealing to others as a romantic or sexual partner. which portion of people may change over time or vary by society, but it never goes completely away. it is unfair that someone can, for example, be born with a face that 99% of people consider repellent, and be too poor for surgery, or be not fixable surgically, and which will cause many, many people to not even consider them as a partner. im sure that has happened. if you want to go the hobbies/interests route, it's possible that someone could have no natural inclination to the activities 99% of people in their society tend to enjoy, and only be interested in hobbies that have no/negative social capital, and engaging in these hobbies which they truly enjoy will cause many people to not consider them as partners. or any number of possible variables, with different degrees of choice vs born that way. that is real, and happens, and is profoundly sad. but, nothing can really be done about this. you can try to slowly change the culture, but that likely won't help the person who is alone right now. what else can be done, realistically? I am seriously asking. what solution do you propose for this? there is also the other bit which is that almost none of these apply to incels except that society finds their hobby/passion of "being generally bitter, hateful, purposefully repellent or smelly, and especially all of these toward women" to be a repellent hobby and state of mind.

Oh but that wasn't my point... yeah I think women genuinely don't care as much about sex though, on the whole, and that a lot of the sexual behavior of women in their teens and 20s, this based off of knowing a lot of women then and now, and being one, is basically the result of social pressure, and they did a lot of things that they genuinely didn't really want to do, but thought they were supposed to want to do if they were "free". It was a strategy that a male-dominated society used to try to get what it wanted, women be damned one way or the other.

The whole issue/question about women and sex reminds me of something. When I was a kid, for a while I thought I didn't like music. This is funny to me now because it turned out that music is one of my favorite things in life. It just happened that the music my friends were listening to was complete crap, in my opinion. I thought I was supposed to like it, because my friends said it was good, and when I didn't go for it, I thought there was something wrong with me. I only found the music I liked later by experimenting and learning my own tastes. I learned that there was a world of diverse options out there. First I had to be open to the idea that there was music I might like. But what if there was a stigma against that? What if I was never even allowed to listen to any music except the most absolute low-talent junk that my friends insisted was awesome, or I would get branded as a degenerate? Or what if I had been afraid to admit that I didn't like the stuff they listened to, and I lied to my friends and pretended it was great? I would never have learned that I like music. And I might even have become resentful of other people who did, or expected special compensation of some sort for putting up with music.
