I'll argue it was Lions placekicker Matt Prater who singlehandedly dragged the lions into wins last year o7

Yeah, going in we were out both starting OTs and poo poo only got worse. And the Falcons in Atlanta was a tall order even for a healthy team. I'm not going to freak out over that loss. That said, we will probably see them again in the playoffs and I'm hoping to see a better game when that comes around.

It's hard to freak out when the problems have been the same for years. I just give a sort of eye roll now.

The defense is a sieve like always - I wanna say there were two or three straight completions to Sanu in the first quarter where he was totally uncovered. A healthy Mike Daniels making the front more effective will make the defense work better, but he doesn't solve the communication problems (or the personnel problems) in the secondary.

The offense can't play at all against decent man coverage, the same problem they've had since the Kansas City game in 2011.

That being said, they'll still win the division.

Oh, oh, I've seen this episode! The wheels fall off the wagon about 2/3 of the way through the season. Then we back into the playoffs and lose in embarrassing fashion in the Wildcard round.

The defense seemed to play better in the second half when King was on Julio. Losing Jordy and then Cobb was brutal for the offense with all of Marty's drops

for real, like, we all know this ends with the Packers winning the NFC North and the #1 or #2 seed. the only saving grace is they'll lose in some satisfying way in the playoffs.

I guess Bradford is having a "cartilage issue" and his return will be based on getting the swelling down.

Like, Sam Bradford injury narrative and all, I'm still genuinely perplexed at how he took shot after shot last year without issue and it's after the one game where he was barely touched that something flared up.

I'm super happy about the win, but Eli completed 22 of 32 passes even with the pick and several bad drops.

As much as I don't want it to happen, this defense is gonna get carved up by Matt Ryan.
