Who cares? Anybody who was going to buy firewatch already did. Why do people think metacritic loving matters for poo poo, especially RETROACTIVELY?

It used to be like 10 bux more and you get some tchotchkes and a cool poster. Now you got ones that go up past 100 and for what?? Just bigger more useless tchotchkes. And it only happens because gamers have to prove their the biggest fans of whatever multi-billion company they choose to align with.

Like, what were they gonna do if the Infinity Stones if they looked like they were advertised? Same thing with the way they look now. Leave me in the case and let it collect dust.

Please. Some pieces of plastic look dumber than they were going to look. How bout gamers do something about how hosed up a lot of these AAA titles are on day 1, you know... the product they ordered?

Here's one thing they can do to stick it to the big companies: stop giving them money for a product they haven't provided. It's this stupid rear end acceptance which lead to stupid poo poo like Early Access.

Oh wait. Gamers don't have the capacity for self-control or self-reflection after the third major AAA disappointment in a row. I can guarantee 90% of those who pre-ordered this dummy CE have done it with similar results in some capacity, and they haven't stopped.

I'm not disagreeing gamers are retarded and need to stop handing their money to AAA developers, especially pre-order and seasonpass bullshit. Though I bet that'll happen sometime around never.

I do firmly believe that if they're gonna advertise something to get their money, they should give you what was advertised. Neither of the two products in the tweet, the eggs and statue are the same product as advertised. It's not just a case of lighting, professional photography and maybe some photoshop touchup. They're completely different products.

What I don't understand is the attitude of "Gamers are dumb, gently caress em." Dumb people need the most help.

And I didn't do anything to communicate, hey you're right, it's a rip off and they should get reimbursed or have the lovely ones replaced. It's just one of those things where Bart keeps touching the electrified cupcake. Eventually, he's the rear end in a top hat.

Let's Plays seem not to be sufficiently transformative to qualify for DMCA protection, as opposed to critique/reviews.

The thing is, you'd be an idiot to issue a takedown on a Let's Play, because it's mutually beneficial for both parties. Unless of course you decided you don't want to be associated with someone at all.

Yeah, if I wrote a game, and The Crying Nazi started an LP, I SHOULD have the right to have it taken offline, especially if it is monetized/part of a Patreon.

Just once, just *once* I would like to see someone actually go to prison over that. That one thing would instantly halt most fraudulent takedown notices.

Especially with the content bots. I remember a case (not much more than that) where one division of some giant company ended up DMCAing another division of said company for using company assets. Because, bots.

I'm sorry, but those look like renders rather than any actual product. The lid seems to show the actual shape of the Infinity Stones. Hell, if you look in the bottom left corner Capcom is mis-spelled. Basically everyone is in the wrong.

Nerds shouldn't allow loving computer renders like that in the future and maybe learn a thing or two from this. Capcom should make things right or offer refunds and then not make lovely products for nerds even though it's so easy to.
