You toss em in a hamper in the locker room and then *spooky fingers* everyone showers at the gym after you workout. If I came back to America I dont know how id be able to leave the gym to go home to shower like i used to so many years ago.

The nice thing about this place is that it's dirty and smelly and empty in the lifting area but it also has some really nice cardio rooms and yoga/spin classes so it caters to everyone. Also it's the only real gym in town so I don't think it's about to go under anytime soon.

When I went to my college gym the only people who showered were 30 year olds but I am 30 now so I guess it makes sense.

Today in the big gay shower room an old man walked in, saw me not standing under my warming water and asked me if my water was warm, then walked over to stand next to me and feel if the water was warm.

Gayest thing I've ever seen. I appreciate his chutzpah, but no thanks.

I workout after 8 hours of moving dusty poo poo around a warehouse, and I refuse to shower at the gym before or after lifting because I've been hit on by some extremely creepy/gross guys in the locker room a couple times now.

I'm bi and like the D, but some guys just make my skin crawl. I don't enjoy being a smelly man beast but do like how the stink aura repels fellow gym members competing for the same equipment. It's all mine!

It's a 5 minute walk to my gym so I literally go and leave in my gym clothes, its pretty great. No latent homosexual thoughts from having to stare at another dudes hog from me

One problem with going to the gym where I live is that i'm also a member of the local Labour party and go when we have stalls. One of the local gym bros found out we were socialists and now mad dogs me in the gym every time I go

I don't like real life and gym life mixing

I used to do this, then one morning I went in the shower and stepped in some dark goop on the ground. I do not to this day know what it could have been, but it was enough to reliably tell me that those showers were gross as gently caress and i needed to avoid them

Only benching for 3 sets just seems.. like not enough to make any difference in terms of strength gains. Doing that 3 times a week doesn't make sense to me. That's like lubing up your dick, watching porn for exactly one minute and stopping when you're hard and putting your pants back on. I'd like to bench twice a week but mostly ever manage once with a couple sets of pushups on the weekend, I never go to my gym on the weekend.

Bench is a bad exercise unless you're planning to compete or play american football. It's fun but you're not accomplishing anything doing it that often.
