i played a city builder like that for awhile, just look at the top guild or whatevre and see that you're trying to beat people that gladly throw hundreds of dollars frequently just to finish building an army that would take you a week. you'll never catch up. play mining game, there's at least a semblance of gameplay and if you REALLY want to you can spend 5 bucks for an upgrade that will last you forever

So regarding pocket mine 3, what is the differnece between the different tiers of gear? Also I understand most of the stats on my gear, keys just literally gives me more keys, shields lets me take more hits, picks gives me more swings with my pick before breaking, but what does the symbol that has the man surrounded by flames mean?

The little guy is your special power. When you click 'play' and you have the cards come up to select, that top card is the digger you are playing as and has that specific ability that activates after 20 block hits.. For example, Hunter's card says "Dynamite with X force. Spawn up to X drills". The little guy will reduce the amount of hits so it activities faster. When you digger starts flashing and says 'Tap', that is the active. As for the gear, I'm not really sure. Most of the legendaries I've gotten been subpar compared to my epic gear. My guess is each tier will increase the value of the stats not necessarily the effect the item has.' VVVV Could also completely correctly. The gear value (Pick/Shield/Special Power) don't seem to necessarily correspond with the tiers they're on. Legendary seem to spawn with multiple types of buffs. Offhand, it seems to be a randomized pointbuy system where sometimes it spends all it's points on utter crap.

if you max out a card then any further cards give you tokens. dunno if its linked to rarity or not but so far i got 15 common tokens from drawing the common bomb card when it was already maxed

Scorps posted:Throwing my code out as well I've spent all mine on cards. I've been saving up to 40 then getting the big packs. Cards persist throughout all other loot changes so will always be good. At the moment I have a pick which has a 45% chance to not use up a charge when hitting a crate, and a ring that gives 75% chance for fireworks to break blocks just by bouncing on them. So then I try and get as many crate and firework related cards for a run. Probably should try and build defence now though, most of my unsuccessful runs end in death before running out of pick uses. Not sure why 1 and 2 never caught my attention but I'm loving Pocket Mine 3.

Jorath posted:Jelly defense is reasonable, albeit challenging. There is a Jelly Wars (I think that's the name) that's pretty good though, it's an Artillery game that has really crazy quick matchmaking, and despite being able to buy gear to gain an advantage in matches, I've never actually lost a match to anyone who spent money on gear to give themselves bonus health etc.

coyo7e posted:I get really quickly bored of tower defense games where you can only place your turrets on certain predefined spots, and Jelly Defense is one of the most egregious examples of this that I can think of. A lot of the levels in the early game literally have like 4 or 6 choices to plant a turret and woop, now just sit there with your dick in your hand and see if it works or not! I just want to play a game that isn't "you're not strong enough, play this mission five more times to gather coins and btw watch some ads". Navigating the Android store gets sad after a while. I've recently learned you can get the Ace Attorney games on it, so I happily bought Dual Destinies and I was wondering if there are any other high-profile games like that.
