One was a girl who got caught with ecstasy in college and the police flipped her to be an informant. The geniuses in Tallahassee PD decided this little red headed Jewish girl should try to buy pounds of coke and automatic weapons from the local drug kingpin as her first job. They found her murdered a few counties over. Boy.

I do see an old high school buddy's name in the credits of a ton of blockbuster summer Marvel MCU movies. His name has slowly migrated from the list of 40+ CGI people to being a big name as team lead of 40+ CGI people.

The school I went to in Virginia was much more strange. It was in Alexandria so it was a mixing pot of rich kids kicked out of the three big private schools and people growing up in abject poverty. We had a few NFL players, one of which is my good friend, who is now a WWE wrestler. The girl I took to senior prom is a VP at Reddit. Then there's probably about 25+ people that have died in drug related gang violence, three from OIF, tons of people incarcerated for minor drug busts etc. It was a lot bigger school though, I think I had 586 or 587 in my graduating class.

Me to the AF and the other to the Marines. It makes sense; he'd wear two or three shirts at once to look bigger.

When I was in fifth grade, one of my classmates was hit by a drunk driver when he was crossing the street to get on the school bus in the morning. He ran into the street to shove his little brother out of the way, since he didn't see the car coming. Died in the hospital about an hour or so later. When we graduated from high school, we kept his name in the class list and had a moment of silence when his name was called. Four classmates died about a month after graduating when they drove into a tree at two in the morning, plastered off their asses.

Veteran Told What Offends Him quote:WASHINGTON—In the wake of protests in which some players knelt during the national anthem prior to this week’s NFL games, a U.S. Army veteran has been informed that the acts offended him. “This behavior spits in the face of everything you fought for,” said friends, family members, co-workers, politicians, television pundits, newspaper columnists, and millions of social media users, notifying the 65-year-old who served two tours in the Vietnam War that the protests were a mockery of all the sacrifices he had made. “You didn’t risk your life so that a bunch of millionaires could grandstand about some social issues. When these players refuse to rise for the anthem, they’re trampling all over your legacy, so of course you’d be furious.” Upon stating that the protests saddened him but that he had fought for their right to take place, the veteran was informed that, while his service was appreciated, he just wasn’t getting it.
