Asking here also because you guys are smart and I'm confused

I ve got a personal credit score of like 755. However, I was added as an authorized user to my company's card (small family business) in June, and that debt is now being reported to the credit bureau and has dropped my score down to 660 - even though I'm not responsible for that debt. I was on the phone with capital one's creditwise/transunion(I believe) specialist and she said that lenders may or may not choose to take that into consideration when applying for a home or car loan.

2 questions - if I'm removed as an authorized user from the company card, is it likely my score will bounce right back to 755?

Does anyone have any idea the likelihood of a lender giving me rates based off the 660 score?

Yeah, I'd get myself removed from that card. Once your removed as an authorized user, it'll bounce back within a month or two, depending on when they report to the bureaus.

Small business cards and authorized users are kind of a minefield that I'd just stay away from.

You may be able to get a lender to give you a loan, but it won't be as good of rates, at least not without a TON of work on your part.

Get your name off that card. I had a similar case with an old firm except he defaulted on it. That plus a medical expense I'm still fighting and 780 turns to 650 pretty drat quick

Trust me you need to get that card off asap.

I am not smart about these things, but I think you've just attached your name to a card that has a worse credit score than you do and since your name is involved you get screwed.

2. They have your information no matter what you do
3. They are the backbone of our consumer culture but have very little oversight

5. They fix "identity theft" for a fee of course while also being the cause of identity theft in the first place

local news facebook page comments as it was happening:

multiple different scenarios (stabbed, stabbed someone else, shot, dead, not dead)
obvious bot complaining the news will twist anything for ratings
people praying via facebook
some blaming it on racial bullying
some blaming it on bullying
some saying that it's because there's a hallway called 'africa' and you wouldn't know about it if your kid isn't an athlete
some saying they shouldn't have released schoole early because they still have to work dammit

anyway, kid's alive, and people are the worst.

It's the easiest to use propaganda platform we've ever had and the old, the dumb, the angry, and the gullible are just gobbling this poo poo up. I'm actually surprised we haven't seen a larger migration away from facebook yet. It's become so hostile and toxic in the last few years it's hard to justify the value of the platform. "Stay connected' I guess but there are tons and tons of other options. And quite frankly it's filled with terrible poo poo no one should stay connected to.

The problem is it's ubiquitous. Like I have an account, and it was only to keep in touch with my sister because the only online presence at all she needs/wants is a facebook account for her goat farm.

But then I had to start using it more because every protest group uses it to track events / meeting locations.

Bleah.

But yeah, none of the large media platforms are even willing to get rid of the outright nazis. Despite them all having to track it due to laws in Germany. It's infuriating, what kind of advertiser is like, yeah, make sure you can see my promoted tweet right above sturmunddrang1488's.

Yea but so much of the ubiquity is just laziness on the part of these various groups. Mail lists should still exist so they can organize via email as well especially with how easy it is to do mass emails these days.

My experience has been that a lot of larger or older firms are just desperate to keep pace in the changing media environment and they've barely considered the ramifications of any of it.

Also, some dude built a tool that lets you visually analyze any twitter users post history: https://accountanalysis.lucahammer.com

Here's trumps:

There's more in the tool as well. Most retweeted is Fox and Friends. :smithicide:
