Owning a Luger is only cool until your have to clean it. In San Mateo there's an amazing gun shop called Krausewerk. If they are still up open you need to go. I promise you it will be worth it.

He wasn't looking so good last I was there. I have the honor of owning one of his amazing pieces of semi custom work. He fitted a Springfield 1911 replacement slide from 1919 to a modern Springfield match lower after I requested a good shooter that looked like something a WW2 armorer would toss together from spare parts. I had also bought my M1 and a few other guns though him.
