just about every hard drink that wasn't just straight liquor or liquor admixed with water/tonic water before the invention of the modern cocktail was either: some kind of punch, either champagne or rum or sangria a flip, which is kind of like a boozy mix of beaten eggs and rum or an eggnog, which is the above with cream added. if you go to the kind of bars where the bartenders wear spats, you can probably try a flip. it's good. i wouldn't want to have it as the only option, but it's a nice experience. ultravoices fucked around with this message at 02:10 on Sep 30, 2017 |

it's late saturday morning here, bout to go snorkel on this tiny island we're on for vacay  but hey if it's friday night and you want the experience of a porto flip but don't have the ingredients, there's a way to fake it and have the same experience. just take a shot of a nice strong port and then have a friend blow their nose directly into your mouth
