The article in the original tweet makes it sound like Youtube just bans all external links in the cards of non-partners and not specificially Patreon. If it's really all links, I don't think that's a spite move but more of a sensible thing.

Is that true? My understanding is that you just need to have the video you want the links on to be monetized, which pretty much anyone can do. 'Course that still fucks over people who are banned from ad sense even if for a legitimate reason, but it shouldn't affect most people.

Here (if the link works) is Sargon and his goons doubling down on hilarious rape jokes in a debate with Thomas Smith. Sargon is a garbage human Thomas Smith walked out after the debate, genuinely effected by the fact people were supporting him. The obvious question there is "what is it satirizing?" Like, in the absence of the actual movement, a Mel Brooks piece about a bunch of whiny nerds who get mad about being whiny nerds and so formulate a plan to become the master race and end up marching under the kek flag could be an effective satire of the relevance and salvation from mediocrity that neo-nazi groups claim to offer. I feel like the best response to him would be to do the thing where you stand uncomfortably close to someone and then almost headbutt them so they flinch.
