Always remember that the former President was dumber than the dumbest person you've ever met by a wide margin

Homer gets the lead in a local production of "Hamilton" . Lisa struggles with the "yellow-washing" of a black musical, but doesn't want to drive Homer away from the arts. Meanwhile, Bart uncovers a time capsule that seems to reveal a secret about Ned Flanders - he was in a black metal band? This week, it's "I Sing the Homer Elected". Special guest voice: Lars Ulrich as Mars Onich.

And next week; it's a brand new Treehouse of Horror with 3 spooky stories! First up is "10 Evergreen Terrace" - the Simpsons wake up in Comic Book Guy's underground bunker; but is he telling the truth that it's the end of the world? Then in "Blah Blah Land" Homer and Marge have a musical adventure set against old Hollywood styled Springfield. And finally, Bart and his friends search for the missing Milhouse in "Cromulent Things". Guest starring Vanilla Ice as himself, Hulk Hogan as himself, and

It's a laugh a minute this season on the Simpsons!

Nice try, but there's usually a half decade or so of cultural lag before there's a whole ToT parody segment. For instance, this year includes Neil Gaiman voicing Snowball II in a Coraline parody.

Hahaha, you outdid me and made up something even more crazy and out of date.... wait it's loving real? So we get an Exorcist parody, a Coraline parody, and Homer eating himself.

I understand there's a lag on this stuff and only so many horror tropesto parody, but seriously?

The Simpsons is about to being its 29th season. And guess what. You can look forward to a Game of Thrones parody, and Ed Sheeran plays a musician named Brendan whom Lisa falls for — and, yes, Brendan will do some singing.

The Treehouse of Horror episodes are usually heavier on screams of laughter than screams of fright, but executive producer Al Jean thinks the final segment in the XXVIIIth edition may change that. "We have what I think is the scariest segment we ever did," he says. "I don't want to say more." Please say more. "I’ll give you the title: 'Mmmmmmm, Homer.' We actually put a disclaimer on it again like we used to — a warning to the audience."
There's also a 3-D parody of Neil Gaiman's Coraline, titled "Coralisa," which features Neil Gaiman voicing the cat.

Nothing in Jurassic World is natural, we have always filled gaps in the genome with the DNA of other animals. And if the genetic code was pure, many of them would look quite different. But you didn't ask for reality, you asked for more teeth.
Got a free two week trial of youtube TV, which includes FXX, and I believe FXX has all Simpsons episodes on demand. So I'm gonna binge watch seasons 3 through 9. Good times.

Season 1 is alright but rough, so I can understand finding it hard to watch. Season 2 is a lot better than it gets credit for, only because of how great season 3 is.

Bart the Fink is a great loving episode. I like all the little jokes when the IRS takes over the Krusty Burger, and they've got separate waste bins for Gross Refuse and Net Refuse.

Or the phone bidder from Japan buying all Krusty's porn for twelve cents, or Comic Book Guy gearing up for a Doctor Who marathon eight years before it became relevant in the USA. "Call me back, Ishmael!"
