I ate three grams of magic mushrooms last night and walked around Toronto. Last night was SCOTIABANK PRESENTS: NUIT BLANCHE! An all night art event presented by a bank, a gin company, and Netflix. The streets were packed with people and you had to wait hours to see any of the installations. The longest line was for the STRANGER THINGS exhibit which I am sure went towards Netflix $500m investment in Canadian arts over 5 year(And I bet they got most of that money back on tax write offs...) Anyway the Stranger Things exhibit had a three hour long line and you had to wear a hazmat suit or something. The only exhibit with no real lines was the small dank corner of Old City Hall where they put the indigenous peoples exhibits. Also the socialist tent was being accosted by bone heads. I think the bone heads eventually hosed off, but drat, city hall was a bad scene last night.

dumb well-actually words white knighting bill maher incoming, do not read probably; just... sometimes... criticism is wrong.... ok I'll jump on the grenade so maher-san might acknowledge me, b-baka...,he extremely admitted he was wrong: he thought it was a bad way of protesting because—i don't remember why but i figure it involved sussing out the chud response and assuming that framing ("ARE FLAG/TROOPS") would be unbreakable he took it all back at some point between last year and this summer. he said it was a good protest, that he misread the situation, and that he was wrong and then the new flare up of the nfl thing happened anyway i don't like bill maher very much but this criticism isn't true or accurate so...... idk here i am posting about it
