Not quite, the person had already killed himself before the Boston bombing. His family's plea for help finding him is what got their attention (also he was brown.) His body was later found in a river. So it didn't cause his death but it did put an already suffering family through hell. e: oh and Reddit tried to take credit for it by saying his body wouldn't have been found if they hadn't accused him, or something.
