DHA was another game that Sega made for arcades that..just happened to basically be Die Hard, down to Bruno being a dead ringer for Bruce Willis, so Sega America/Europe slapped the license on it. So no probably not.

Slice of life is good as it fleshes the characters out a lot. Granted some games go over the top with it, but it's a necessary thing.
