I get the feeling people aren't reading the light novels here because of not wanting to read the fan translations, but Konosuba is still really drat funny, even with the crazy Japanese-->Chinese-->English filter the first few were subjected to.

I mean in the case of Konosuba the novel translation pretty much has the exact same cadence as the subtitles for the show script, so it works just fine for me.

Some people also think the sculpts are too simple compared to figures at similar price points. Basically the price doesn't match the quality.

Did some glancing around at what's available from the well-regarded companies for similar prices, and yeah, those are definitely overpriced (well, moreso than figures already are). With that said, if you really want a Konosuba figure I'm not really seeing much else at the moment - at least that most people would be willing to publicly display. Here's another figure for Megumin from a couple months back that was also advertised on Crunchyroll to show what I mean: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/03/16-1/megumin-gets-some-big-love-with-konosuba-14-scale-bunny-ver-figure. Yeah, they're not good figures but the companies don't go out of business because they're the only who make figures of a popular franchise. Goodsmile makes nendos and more uh, lewd, figures of the characters but if you want normal figures of the cast you have to deal with poor quality. Same thing happened to touhou. Just get the nendos imo
