The only thing that pisses me off about that video more than the CRX getting totaled is that moron didn't get run over by it. Some people aren't worth the carbon in their loving bodies.

If I found a clean unmolested CRX for sale I'm not sure I could resist buying it on the spot. Looks good, fun as hell to drive, and their hatchback design means it can even carry a decent load. I had a friend in high school that lugged guitars and associated amps in one. Unfortunately they were also popular with the rice crowd and are prone to some nasty rust so finding one in pristine condition is kind of a unicorn.

Both the car and the cabinet are dangerous. Give it to me for safe disposal.

The ultralight 49 state model. 1500lbs on the registration. I loved that car. It got amazing MPG and it out handled most any car. Also roomy for a 6' 3" driver.

As awesome as it sounds, part of me really wonders how much better the car would be with a much lighter engine making 250hp instead.

I had a race car for quite a few years that was carbed because of dumb rules for the class, and I swore after I got rid of it that I would deal with the wiring, cost, effort and weight penalty on any car in the future where FI was an option. Stupid car was a pain to make run perfectly all the time as the weather and altitude changed wildly at different event venues, whereas with FI, things just work.

Oh, yeah, completely agreed with you there. My Quadrajet was honestly a pretty solid setup but I'll still take modern fuel injection any day. I just realized that not only by date of manufacture, but also by when it was first released, the LS1 in my truck is actually the oldest and simplest car engine I have.

Bugatti was smugging about the chiron doing 0-400kmph-0 in 42 seconds. Christian von Konigsegg did it in 36 seconds with 2/3rds the power. Every time bugatti smugs about something, konigsegg punches then in the dick.
