Tsk tsk tsk, something annoys you and you immediately want to reboot.

Anyway, I am happy to announce that thread favorite That Mummy gently caress will get his own Black Series figure in 2018. Now with Hasbro's new face printing tech that actually makes human-ish face look good.

Also: one of the sixteen lost posts was me, asking for advice about what order I should watch the eight Star Wars films in over the next few weeks. I'm thinking chronological, since I did release order two years ago, but I wish to hear opinions.

I'm thinking the only sane place for Rogue One, if we accept that the goal is to achieve some particular artistic result by ignoring release order, is immediately between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

I've seen several sources claim that ticket sales start on Monday night, yes. Call the theater beforehand just to make sure, though.

I think it rolls depending on how many posts are on the last page. If the post counter is off then it needs several extra posts for the page counter to catch up.

I've been slowly working my way through the movies that Rian Johnson has mentioned as being inspiration or viewing homework for crew:

Twelve O'Clock High
Bridge on the River Kwai
Three Outlaw Samurai
Letter Never Sent
Gunga Din
Sahara
To Catch a Thief
Kill!

along with Brick, Looper, and TFA. I did a six-week six movie marathon before TFA in winter 15 and I'm still not chomping at the bit to do that again.

Non, je ne regrette rien

I've never done a marathon of the full saga, but I did once marathon the PT and OT on back to back days. It's an interesting experience to do at least once to see how the trilogies contrast with each other; for example, despite common wisdom, I thought the PT cohered a lot more as a series than the OT (the ANH to ESB transition in particular almost feels like a soft reboot), and was a lot more clearly planned out from the beginning.
