From a few pages ago, but I just can't get over how poorly this strip is designed. You naturally read right-to-left, so your eyes are drawn from the first word balloon, down to the wording on Fritzi's shirt and then to the second balloon, so at first glance it looks like Nancy's remarking on her aunt's titty.

The real question is: Why does she have a sweater that just has "Late Show with David Letterman" on it? At least the shoehorned-in band and sports shirts make sense as a thing people might actually wear.

Arlo and Janis Okay, this absolutely had to have been written by a cat owner/lover. A couple of Thanksgivings ago, my biggest, fattest, greediest cat just begged and pleaded for turkey, so once dinner was done, I actually made him a tiny turkey leftover sandwich - white meat between two little pieces of croissant - and set it on the floor before him. He sniffed it, looked me in the eyes, and walked off. CATS. Tina's Groove Classic (February 23, 2006) Arlo and Janis Classic (February 23, 1996) Garfield Classic (February 23, 1986)

SuperKlaus posted:We need Honey Come Chatka and Pop Team Epic back. More Moomin too, even reruns, always reruns. For now take solace in the good historical comics like King Aroo, Popeye, and even jingoistic-madman Everett True. Or the good modern comics - they do exist - like Pooch Cafe or the Korean material. Do not let the perverts and freaks who religiously post, read, and comment on Working Daze, Intelligent Life, Luann, and motherfucking Brooke and Holbrook comics get you down. You’re right - I tended to ignore the older comics because B&W just slides off my eyes, but I toughened up and I’m glad because they’re really fun! And thank you, EasyEW, for letting me learn to laugh at Les Moore... again!
