The more they win, the more they will just keep throwing Josh McCown out there to play like the 25th best starter in the NFL or so and they will not find out if they have an NFL QB in Bryce Petty.

It is my belief that the New York team will have the first overall pick.
I don’t think there any way after 3-2 than they get ahead of the Browns or 9ers in the draft and the 2 QB’s are going 1-2.
Im actually quite OK with Kirk Cousins. I think he goes to the Niners though.

So in the most Miami scandal possible, the Dolphins o line coach has been caught on film doing cocaine before meetings. Whoops.

So far this season, only three teams have punted for > 400 yards in a single game. Last night's Miami vs Titans game provided two of them...

two good punters IMO

Yeah, our offensive line is flat out Putrid. Pouncey stinks, the guards are *atrocious* and Tunsil went from great to absolute trash in TWO GAMES. Jay isn't very good but he has zero chance out there. Stills can't get open deep because by the time his routes been run Cutler has gotten sacked, so we're throwing 3 yard passes to Landry and Julius Thomas. This team is flat out awful as a unit with several very skilled players. In my opinion (in 2018) I'd fix it by freeing up potential cash: 1. Cutting Pouncey 2. Cutting Julius Thomas (id actually do this immediately) 3. Look into trading Parker for assets. He's wasted on Miami and he's injury plagued. No more injury plagues players. Landry wants 14 a year, and he's our backbone. He should get it. 4. Cut Maxwell. The good news: 1. Tankersley looks legit 2. Timmons is a run stopping wall. 3. James at RT looks fantastic. 4. Tunsil has had 50/50 results - either a brick wall against studs from LAC, or looked on skates against TENN. I think it's mental.

Ehud posted:two good punters IMO The Titans punter looked legitimately amazing. I’m pretty sure he kept them in the game by booming huge punts a couple of times when the Titans were pressed back against their own line. Haack also looked fine, not as long as the other guy but that last punt trying to kill time at the end of the game stayed in the air for _ages_ But then they should be good - they get lots of practice.

It's such a shame that a lot of the critical things have gone wrong this year, as there's actually a fair few positives for the Dolphins. Tankersley and Godchaux are playing heavy snaps as mid round picks, Harris seems to be coming on, McMillan looked good before he got hurt, the D overall looks much more solid, the only trade/FA that's really bombed is Thomas. Buuuut, Cutler's a shitshow so none of it matters.

Uh yeah that's pretty off he played awful last game. He gave up 2 sacks So I have no idea what they're going on about. I guess they don't count them but I assume his assignment would be block the OLB on a blitz when your de stunts inside Hell maybe my read is wrong. Chargers game he was a brick wall

I do feel like there's the possibility that we pull a Classic Dolphins and stagger to 8-8 with Cutler playing well enough down the stretch that there's a mini QB crisis when Tannehill returns.

If Cutler has shown anything in the past it's that he gets more invested as the season goes on. Especially if the team has a bad record.

Of course, but Cutler progressively getting somehow shitter is the best realistic case for the Dolphins, as we'd get a high draft pick and immediately cut him and replace him with Tannehill (or Darnold if we're truly lovely)

I think the Dolphins will win a few more games, but I don't see it happening today. Atlanta are too good. But again, I don't see the Dolphins only making four or five wins, I think it'll be more like six to eight wins. Ehud posted:Jay Cutler is terrible. Tannehill is good. I just wonder how long they stick with Cutler at this rate. Moore didn't seem awful last year when he had to step in. I would imagine if Jay gets benched he'll immediately walk out the stadium and retire.
