*person asks me, a career politician, how I feel about subject* Well you see it's quite the can of worms.jpeg you're opening here. If you had asked me before I would have certainly said yes. But you know, the political climate. Things rarely stay the same in a matter of years. I would have said no a few years ago but you have to consider that things can change quite a bit in a few years and it's always important to think of your decisions as things develop. "Just say yes or no its not that hard" NO BUT YOU SEE it's quite the connundrum really. I would have said one thing or the other no doubt if you'd asked me sooner but the landscape can evolve and if I had known the impact of the current events I would have considered as such in the current landscape and made the right choice for the people. But it's difficult to know, how things will unfold. And that's why I hav chosen the current choice of actions to insure that the people get what they want and the country gets what they want TL:DR politics is a farce no matter where it comes from. Eat the rich when EDIT: I'm sorry I keep sniping the new pages. I'm not really clever or insightful. I'm just really upset

My favorite posts are the real ones by news agencies dunking on Trump. Lol @ the BBC for putting a picture of the back of his dumb head/haircut as the picture for a tagline about the dotards IQ. Today's LOLs just keep rollin' "Professor Fred I Greenstein, professor of politics emeritus at Princeton University, lists six qualities that bear on presidential performance. They are: public communication, organisational capacity, political skill, vision, cognitive style, and emotional intelligence. "Trump scores low on emotional intelligence, cognitive style, vision, and organisational capacity," says Dr Perry. "Where he was been superb, in order to win the presidency, is public communication and political skill."

I've seen people on these very forums frothing excitedly about a potential, "Balkanization of the United States" without taking even a moment to think about the implications of the geographical metaphor they just used, or where that curiously-specific piece of memetic garbage may have originated from. These same people are probably shut-in enough to have built their entire worldview around the game Fallout: New Vegas. https://www.rawstory.com/2017/10/russia-pushes-texas-secession-and-white-power-rallies-on-social-media-and-its-still-happening/ "Russia appears to be promoting the breakup of the United States by encouraging larger states like Texas and California to secede."

Imagine having to double-down on supporting Trump when he says poo poo like this IQ stuff? "Well he says he's got a high IQ because he's a genius. It's okay for a genius to say that, because that's what a genius would do." Imagine how aghast you'd be if your own child said "I'm smarter than you, if you take an IQ test with me it will show you that my IQ is higher than yours"? You would be loving horrified; you'd grab your kid by the arm and scold the hell out of them for being rude. Trump supporters can't even disagree with a single thing he does, because he always ends up doing something dumber and worse within a few days. They're totally backed into a corner.
