Buni has always sucked. 80% of its jokes are "what if [cute / pleasant thing] were in fact [shady / violent]?" And the rest are some seriously Intelligent Life-quality poo poo about how the loser rabbit pines for the pretty rabbit who is with the jock rabbit. Alley Oop, on the other hand, is pretty good. I have MASSIVE respect for the character Dootsy Bobo based on NOTHING but the fact that his name is Dootsy Bobo. Freakin' owns. the bus is also good.

The thing that gets me about Aunt Fritzi in NewNancy is she's drawn as a sex bomb, but not really, because she's wearing a cross necklace. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. gently caress you, Gilchrist

Even less than kissing, have the two even done something like hold hands in Intelligent Life? They seem to mostly just talk at each other and melt. Also that old Funky always reminds me how over time Carla just looked more and more like Lisa each appearance.

I'm wondering how much of this actually happened/was revealed in the comic, and how much is just being vomited out here because Ann Eiffel isn't evil enough already.

Good Listener posted:Even less than kissing, have the two even done something like hold hands in Intelligent Life? They seem to mostly just talk at each other and melt. Honestly if I saw this relationship in real life (or even if I saw it in a real comic) I'd know exactly what was going on. Clearly she doesn't actually want to be going out with him, but he catfished her and when she saw who he was she couldn't turn him down without being the bitch who was all up ons, but then wouldn't go out with him as soon as she found out he's not hot or rich or interesting or fun. So she's just like, "Let's take it slow. Like, really slow. Like, let's not kiss or hold hands or even brush against each other in tight spaces." She's keeping him in that holding pattern until he gets sick of it and quits her (he won't, he was happy creepily staring at her across the room for years) or she finds an "acceptable" reason to dump him. Unfortunately, since this isn't real life or a real comic but rather a gross nerd wank, she'll be happy in this non-relationship until Reddick gets blue balls and bumps them to the next level.

Apparently something something bullshit spidey is a human who got his powers from a bite, which is somehow OK because it's a different type of mutation from the X-gene which is somehow bad-er typer of mutation? I've seen that argument, and in the house of M storyline it was used in reverse.
