Wait poo poo, do those monthly loot crate services actually use a rarity system for what they send so that people can get all excited if they get the coveted orange chest rather than the standard gray with a moldy slice of bread in it?

From what I've seen some will sometimes send a rarer or more expensive varient of a few of the items to some of the people. In those cases even the more expensive items are usually still the dumb crap you get in those things though.

I'm a moron, I was having one hell of a hard time killing stronger machines in Horizon until I realized I was still using the starter bow with whatever upgrades I had on hand. One trip to the merchant and a purple bow later now I Am Become Death. Their first dlc for that was freaking unique national idea trees and that was it, for like 6 countries. You can find a new awesome total overhaul mod on the workshop like every 2 week's that's more robust and interesting than any tweaks they've made since release over a year ago

I remember calling out that National Focus DLC in the HOI4 thread as overcharging for a couple of text files and got told that I didn't understand how much work went into game balance and historical research?

My roommate left his N64 along with Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask and said I could sell them if I wanted, and I figured I could sell the whole bundle for maybe $75. I went to clean everything and remove the old price stickers. In the process of removing the NOT FOR RESALE DEMO GAME ONLY stick on Majora's Mask, I tore a little off the back Nintendo sticker. I went to Ebay to see how much I should list them for. And my heart sank.

I've been playing a lot of EU4 and Stellaris recently and it just makes me want a mapgame-ish game that's more internally focused, like an EU4 that functions as a country-scale simcity or something like that. If I don't feel like conquering and murdering my neighbours then there's not an awful lot to do. Stellaris is better at this, but I miss the history flavour.
