Yeah Tweak vs. Craig was my favorite episode of the last 4-5 years and a big part of it was the sheer volume of drawings and artwork in that episode.

Small White Dragon posted:The images used in the game were not fan-sourced, they came from staff or comic book artists who were friends of staff. Anyway, it was mainly just discussing and refining potential ideas and concepts the artists had. Some of it was just trying to figure out where the line was and how close you could get it to. "Okay, well what if they..." Obviously, you can see some of the images in the game.\ Okay whoever drew and named these is extremely goddamn familiar with terrible DeviantArt yaoi and that's incredible and terrifying at the same time

Tweek x Craig is one of my favorite episodes of the series, so I'm really glad it gets a bunch of attention in the game.

Small White Dragon posted:I think you mean Tweek x Craig. Tweek vs Craig was the one in season 3 where everybody goads the two of them into fighting each other, even though neither of them wants to. It's almost as if Tweek and Craig are both very easily manipulated into doing things they don't want to. Fighting or being a gay couple, they both resisted but in the end they fought and kissed? Also, I was going to hold out and wait for a sale price, but I remembered I had some gift cards still from the holidays last year that I never bothered to use. So knocked it down to $15 for me on Amazon! Can't wait for the loving download to finish

This felt like it had potential as a classic one-off episode, but Marcus is grating. e- "Put me on Death Row, but they call it Hospice" is hilarious and also depressing. CBJSprague24 fucked around with this message at 03:17 on Oct 19, 2017 |

The retirement prison plot is fun. The Marcus investigating why the costumed characters keep dying is not.

I knew I'd like this episode the moment Chuck E. Cheez vomited all over the party. It just keeps getting better from there. This feels like classic South Park to me. Sending offenders to solitaire instead of solitary is just my kind of sense of humor too.

I am dumb -- what was that line from Randy when they're at dinner? Stan said "you could go visit him at the nursing home" and Randy says no, cause I'm busy slaving away paying for the nursing home and your guitar lessons, and Stan replies no, I don't even take guitar lessons, and Randy says something like "that's a touchy subject and I don't want to talk about it", and then he says "aw, you tricked me" all dejected. I don't get it.

Funniest episode of the season so far. If Matt and Trey want to wuss out on their promise to take on white supremacy and stop delivering lovely attempts at satire, I can get down with this.

That said, if you're interested in the two of them, you should play the new video game, The Fractured But Whole. Tweek and Craig break up again as a result of the Franchise Plan dispute, and the two of them are an important plot thread in the story. (Shameless plug for the video game.) It was bad. The old folks home was an amusing idea that should have been a single scene in a good episode. It was just run into the ground. Marcus is a terrible character.

RatHat posted:I dropped off this show around season 13 and now I'm getting back into it. Any particularly good/bad episodes I should watch/avoid? Avoid everything from this season and last season. That's 20/21. Everything before it is pretty high quality with hits and misses. Except season 16. That's a bad season, too with only a couple worthwhile episodes. The first half of that season (the spring run) is total trash. The second part is back to normal, but that's only 7 episodes of which a couple are good. Must sees: 13: fish sticks, pinewood derby, fatbeard, butters bottom bitch, W.T.F., The F Word 14: tale of scrotie mcboogerballs, medicinal fried chicken, 200, 201, insheeption, coon trilogy, creme fraiche 15: humancentipad, T.M.I., you're getting old, assburgers, broadway bro down 16: sarcastaball 17: informative murder porn, world war zimmerman, ginger cow, the hobbit (and sorta the 3 part game of thrones black friday thing. it would be better as two episodes but the butters stuff is great) 18: go fund yourself, gluten free ebola, grounded vindaloop, cock magic 19: the whole thing because it is a somewhat linked. Not every episode is great but the running storyline works fairly well 20: none at all. just ignore it because everything that did work in 19 failed in 20. 21: none
