Sure seems like Phoenix could use a veteran point guard on a bargain contract who can also put the ball in the hoop but at least they have some draft picks for the 2025 draft or whenever.

When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
The Suns' box score is weird. Like yeah they only scored 76 points but they also just had scary low rebounding and assist numbers. More blocks than the Blazers though!

E: watching the end of the replay now and this lineup the Suns are running makes no sense.

Josh Jackson looks great though. He's bad defensively like all rookies but as soon as he figures out the whole screen thing he's going to be good. Just in the fourth quarter Josh Jackson has had three assists opportunities dropped.

Also he should have benched Wiggins for not trying on defense and never played Dieng because he is brutal.

Wiggins defense was fine last night, he was going after the boards and he was rotating fine. Not to mention Wiggins was the best offensive player on the team. The Wolves defense was ok, which is a step up from last year. Their offense looked worryingly disjointed. They were playing the Spurs in San Antonio so its not like losing by 8 means you are a bad team.

Dieng was awful though. So was Shabazz but he ended up with a +11 somehow.

Not really. There may be like five major injuries each season. It's pretty uncommon. Both of these came as a result of awkward landings, which is why there are rules about standing under a shooter's landing area.

I was preaching caution with the Wolves because they've gotta get their chemistry down with so many new players but maaaan it was still a bit depressing to watch that last night.

At least Wiggins was taking better shots than he usually does, Crawford looked really good, and Thibs actually Freed Tyus!

I only watched the first half of Suns/Blazers last night, but it was like the quietest blowout you'll see. Suns were getting outmuscled and missing makeable shots, Blazers were hitting theirs, suddenly it was a 15-0 run and a 25-pt halftime lead.
