Sandi Gardiner, "actress", being nixed 100% from her tour de force as "Vic's Mom" is the most delicious ending of the #actress #Hollywood saga that I can possibly imagine.

She hitched her wagon to Chris Roberts (again) and this project specifically to pad her IMDB profile, use backer money to create reel after reel of useless self-promotion, stand shoulder-to-shoulder with actual acting professionals, and get her face and name on a promotional poster with top billing alongside them. This is what it was all for - this, to Sandi Gardiner, was the full purpose of Star Citizen.

And this is how it ends. Not with a bang, nor a whimper, nor even a PAARP.

It ended with nothing.

Sandi Gardiner wasn't even good enough for a straight-to-the-trashbin release of a poo poo-tier film. Imagine being that bad. That in a film that's cringe-worthy from beginning to end, somewhere along the line, the editor and director sat in the room together and thought, "We have to cut that one. She's dragging the whole thing down."

That's like walking into an open cesspit and pointing out a particularly aromatic turd.

It's a beautiful analogy to Star Citizen itself - which will end in precisely the same way - simple nonexistence.

I couldn't have imagined a better ending.

:vince:

That soulless vampire is pulling a Star Citizen paycheck while pursuing her "acting" :airquote: career. It's hilarious that she makes a few tweets a week, which hardly anybody engages with. She treats those like an officer would treat speeding ticket quotas. Every drat thing she's been in, has been pure and utter tripe. I can't wait for SQ42 to be added to that poo poo pile dumpster fire.

It really couldn't have happened to a nicer person

The best part is that they did it in the most passive aggressive way possible, because really, who would volunteer to tell the turbobitch that she's been cut? She can take it all out on Chris and, now that she has more time to spend at the office, any CIG employees she happens to be around

The Titanic posted:

I hope it hurt. I have little doubt she funded that film with both money and equipment. I hope they took her for a ride. I hope they lied their asses off to her to string her along for as long as they could. I hope they told her nothing, even after release and they knew that her already bit part she was really looking forward to was actually cut.

That look of angry, sad, betrayal she had is exactly what thousands of people also felt as she “keeps doing what she’s doing”!

If this is the only way she’ll be able to feel even a fraction of what she’s caused to countless other people, good for whatever mythical creature or voodoo doll is causing her grief.

Maybe she can go design some loving shoes for her shoe design company or something to feel better about it. Or go take a dive in the ocean and discover new creatures with her degree in marine biology. Or go put her degree in international marketing to work on another scam sale. Or maybe she’ll think of a way to fix it since she’s the smartest person in the room.

Or maybe she can just go back to being a washed up, poo poo-tier former porn actress who married an equally washed up former Hollywood director who was kicked out of the industry so hard he had to sell cars, and who found restitution in that pathetic life style by accidentally discovering a twisted way to become filthy rich by lying and cheating everybody and their uncle.

Tough choices but I’m sure she’ll make the wrong one that will hurt the most people so long as it propels her forwards. :colbert:

Yo Derek , since everyone is making GBS threads allover Sandi currently ;

Connect the dots for me

When did she marry Chris the first time ?

From her own account she met him while at UCLA , assuming they didn't get married until at least 1 year later ... work out her real age based on, again, the assumption she was in university around 20 years old

We know it's all bullshit anyways but would be good for a giggle to know she's 45 pretending to be 35

IIRC of the Sandi Lore she supposedly went to several different unis for several different things, so your assumption is probably off. I'd assume her education in Australia came first just by occam's razor

Stop trying to get refunds. Your money, that you gave us, is gone. It went to developing dreams; not yours, but the people in charge here. You paid for them to live out their dreams: Ben, who finally got to work with his idol; Sandi, who got back into acting; Chris who got to direct an absolutely stellar A list cast. For everyone else, you've given them hundreds of thousands, if not millions, to pursue whatever they want to do. I'm sure they thank you for helping them do what they've only dared dreamed.

The rest of us politely say "Stop emailing us asking for your money back." I know the official line is that everything is great and we are making money like crazy, but it's not. Things here are dire. They've been dire for awhile but you can feel the shame and terror every time you walk into the building. I know this is coming off harsh. I don't care. I'm sick of working here and I'm especially sick of the whiny emails I continue to get. What did you expect?

I cashed out four months ago via GM. If you can sell a ship to a buyer, take it. Take it for half. Just take it.

You can also email and ask for a partial refund for 10%. Those we will approve without a problem, although it might take six or eight weeks to process now. Otherwise, stop asking, stop emailing and stop whining. Just stop.

I think it means if you take a 10% hit they'll give you 90% back of whatever you want back. They used to do that sometimes in 2014 for refunds.

Otherwise Croberts will just shrug his shoulders, get into his anniversary edition Porsche, and drive off into the sunset.
