Also it keeps the whole idea of “safe spaces are a silly concept” in the discourse despite it being a pretty normal idea. Conservatives are about as snowflake bitchmade as the most emotionally deranged progressive, see the authoritarianism around white poppies and kneeling at national anthems vs people twitter scouring podcasts they dont even listen to. They are both pops with undiagnosed mental illness.

Also it keeps the whole idea of “safe spaces are a silly concept” in the discourse despite it being a pretty normal idea. Also it helps if you nudge the story to outlets on places that are a) super embittered about outlets being able to get to the story both quicker and more accurate than them and b) are trying to push a "Technology will ruin young people's heads by showing them ways that will keep them away from our way of living" narrative (That is mostly less about actually getting them more socialized and more bound to aiding their community and more about being easier to sell whatever vile oversimplified horseshit). It's a win for them if they get at least one reporter to type out a huge piece on how "There has been consternation on the social networks about a free speech from a controversial non-liberal group, mostly received by insults and outrage..." that actually elaborates on what the speech was in the first place on the 3rd or 5th paragraph.

Glad they're not tackling rape culture and giving a boatload of cash away to good causes. I'd just be a bad poo poo show and I'm sure the boys aren't *perfect leftist progressives* fans make them out to be. That picture two pages back from facebook re: ALL MEN really hit it on the head. Matt shouldn't need a female friend to mother him imo. He should wear regular clothes of his own accord. That's the GalacticAcid take.

I like that they distanced themselves from the joke by actually making it sound like it was about a diaper fetish. Instead of just 'yea this was immature and dumb' it was 'inappropriate' and 'crossed the line'
