Did you notice the $5500? Where do you think that came from? I have a few decks and a bunch of junk bulk I have to figure out how to get rid of and that's pretty much it.

Anyone on the Anointed Procession tokens deck in standard? If so, do you like the WUB build or the Abzan build more?

I really like Scarab God up top on the WUB build, but Vraska is pretty tempting...

I think the Esper build is more powerful overall, but Abzan has better mana and is better in the mirror. If you're planning on playing in paper, be warned that the deck is very draining to play; you need to play fast and remember all your triggers. Also the Approach matchup is very slow and game 1 is almost unwinnable, so watch out for your opponent stalling for the 1-0.

Abzan might gain some points in paper because Vraska and more Shefet Dunes mean you can close out a game faster and are less likely to go to time.

mainboard one lost legacy because every tier deck has one Center card, usually approach or scarab god or ballista or bristling hydra or earthshaker khenra.

Every time I see Goatse, I think of Maureen. That's the last thing I saw. Before I blacked out. The sight of that man's anus.

If you’re going to Lost Legacy something out of Ramunap it should probably be Hazoret.

But then you probably lose due to the loss of tempo.

How would Abzan have better mana than Esper with 2 sets of checklands to 1?

Abzan is only splashing a single green card so it plays a lot like a two-color deck.

Yeah. He should've dumped it a couple years ago when they were peaked and put it into something that'll actually give him a return.

Anytime you're naming something in Magic, it must come from a legal set of choices.
E.g., 5 colours, 6 basic land types, set creature type list, legal cards in Modern, etc.

Unless you're on MTGO. Then you can name any card that's been printed on MTGO and hope it doesn't change your choice afterwards.

There's only five basic land types, but if they were to print a card that asked you to choose a basic land card name, then saying that you had six legal choices would be wrong there too, there's eleven.

Oath making it that far is pretty good. Most people thought the deck was dead, so for it to make 3/8 of the top 8 is great. It might just be a fluke though for this tournament. The Vintage metagame changes rapidly, except Workshops is always at the top.

Oath WAS dead because your 3 card combo for a turn 2 Griselbrand still lost the race to their turn 2 Mentor. Oath being good is extremely not surprising.

Also lol 24 Deathrites and 28 Brainstorms in legacy top 8.

Modern isn't going to change much while standard doesn't introduce many cards worth playing in modern.
